Silent Hill f system requirements

This latest entry in Konami's horror franchise is developed in UE5, but doesn't come with intimidating minimum and recommended specs.

You won't need the Silent Hill f, which is the first game in this Konami horror franchise to actually be set in the developer's homeland of Japan. Take our Silent Hill f system requirements PC benchmark test to answer the question… Can I run Silent Hill f?

The Silent Hill f minimum requirements are in line with what is expected from most modern 3D games. You'll need an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 5700 paired with an Intel Core i5 8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600.

You'll also need 16GB of RAM, which might be tricky if your gaming PC is still stuck on 8GB. Luckily, this is one of the cheapest and easiest upgrades you can make to a gaming PC, and you can check out our best gaming RAM guide for advice on which sticks to pick up.

For the Silent Hill f recommended specs, you'll need an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT alongside an Intel Core i7 9700 or AMD Ryzen 5 5500, with no increase to the RAM requirement.

We've seen other Unreal Engine 5 games get a little out of control with demands even at the minimum tier, just take a look at the inZOI system requirements as an example. So far, while we only have the minimum and recommended specs, it doesn't seem like Silent Hill f will be too difficult to run, but this is all subject to change in the lead-up to release.

The only slight letdown is that the performance target for the minimum requirements is only 30fps at 720p, while the recommended specs are for 60fps at 1080p. Monster Hunter Wilds system requirements.

The Silent Hill f size has also been revealed as 50GB, with an SSD only required from the recommended tier. However, I always recommend buying the best SSD for gaming you can afford, even if it's not required, because the performance benefits are well worth the now-reasonable price of most speedy drives.
