May 9, 2022: Warner Bros confirms Gotham Knights only has two-player co-op, but doesn't rule out extra modes – and a new reveal is coming tomorrow.
PlayStation may have leaked the reveal of Gotham Knights co-op expanding to feature four players at once, similar to its fellow DC multiplayer game mode for four players – and a new Gotham Knights gameplay reveal is coming tomorrow.
Gotham Knights was always a won't now release until October.
It's possible developer Warner Bros Montreal used this extra time to add for four-player co-op. According to the recently updated open-world game.
PCGamesN got in touch with Warner Bros Games brand manager Devon Newberry over Twitter, who confirmed that Gotham Knights will "have two-player campaign co-op, as announced previously". However, they did not rule out the possibility of a four-player mode separate from the main campaign.
To complicate matters, today the official Gotham Knights Twitter posted that the game would get a reveal of the powers for Nightwing and Red Hood tomorrow – showing a picture that features four characters.

Gotham Knights also appears in a recent trailer for Summer Game Fest, so it's possible that the game may get some new details at the event next month, such as the reveal of a four-player mode. We'll just have to wait to find out for now.
Elsewhere in DC Comics news, Suicide Squad has an Unreal 5 Superman game. Hopefully, we'll get a real one of those soon.
