Fortnite server status right now

Fortnite servers are currently online and running smoothly after the Fortnite OG Season 3 update. If you're having issues, it might be worth checking your internet connection and that your game is up-to-date.

Generally speaking, Fortnite servers only go down during maintenance periods between patch updates or when demand is increased to the point of overloading servers, such as the first day of Lego Fortnite going live. There have been exceptions where things have taken longer, like the prolonged downtime at the start of Chapter 5 Season 2 where the maintenance period was extended by eight hours. If and when this happens, we'll let you know.

Next server downtime

Provided nothing goes wrong in the meantime, the next planned server maintenance takes place on April 8, when a new season of Fortnite Festival begins. There may also be brief downtime on April 1 for a smaller patch.

While Fortnite servers are up and running, you can buy or earn the latest PC games for 2025 and beyond.
