New Clair Obscur Expedition 33 patch notes give you even more difficulty control

The newest Clair Obscur Expedition 33 patch notes take aim at the overall difficulty, letting you make the RPG much easier, or harder.

With the newest Clair Obscur Expedition 33 patch notes, Sandfall adjusts the RPG's overall challenge. The story mode difficulty is now easier than ever, helping you jump in and focus on the narrative, while new modifiers allow you to ramp up the toughness of enemies, too. However you like to play, E33's latest update has something for you.

On the other end of the scale, the new update also introduces challenge modifiers from Act Three onwards, which you can access at flag checkpoints. With these, you can max out player damage to 99,999 or 999,999, which means all your game-breaking combos are no longer as effective. That's not all, though, because you can also multiply enemy HP by two, five, ten, 20, 50, or 100 times.

The patch doesn't stop there, however, as Sandfall Interactive also gives you the option to rematch Simon, one of the toughest bosses in the entire game. Alongside the new challenge modifiers, this means you can make him nigh unbeatable. Or, you could switch to story mode and make him much more doable - the choice is yours.
